Large-scale implementation of lecture capture in European Higher Education

August 13, 2013

Planning is going well for a full day international workshop on Lecture Capture to take place on Wednesday 11 December in KU Leuven Belgium. This workshop takes place right before the Media & Learning Conference and is the final REC:all project event.

This workshop will bring together educators, administrators and suppliers to exchange useful ideas on the future of lecture capture. It builds on the success of the 2012 Lecture Capture workshop organised in Leuven which brought together almost 60 participants from 14 countries.

The day will start with a series of showcases highlighting case studies on the topic of up-scaling and large-scale integration of lecture capture in higher education. After lunch break participants can take part in a series of World Café discussions intended to refine the final guides produced by the REC:all project.  These discussions will be followed by Expert sessions on three specific topics: Copyright, Storage and Translation.
