Sun, sea and beautiful scenery were the ideal background for a fruitful SAILS Project meeting, combining scientific committee, WP Leaders and General Assembly meeting. The meeting hosted generously by the University of Piraeus in Athens, Greece from 8th till 10th October 2014 was actively attended by all partners. Intense and productive discussions focused on the TEPs and resulted in good advances of the work in the project. A common vision on the final outputs of the SAILS project and a way to disseminate and promote them is clearly taking shape. External evaluator Deborah McGregor provided the consortium with some refreshing insights as a critical friend and helped put both progress and project issues in perspective. This was well received by all consortium members. Other contributions focused on use of ICT, on gender issues and on the future of the CoP and user involvement. It is especially in the latter tasks that ATiT is contributing to the SAILS project. More info on IBSE assessment on the SAILS project website.
