The Europeana Media project is developing an Enhanced Unified Playout Service (EUPS), offering heritage institutions a media playout with market-competitive quality, user friendly design, and cross-border content reusability. ATiT's role in the project s to support the development and use of this player within the educational sector. The most recent meeting of the partnership took place in Hannover on 27 June when the first user tests were discussed. During the meeting the team also had the opportunity to visit the HQ of the Technische Informationsbibliothek in Germany which is a partner in the project. This scientific library is home to the German national library of scientific publications going back many years and in many formats including microfiche.
