Joining the DOTS in Zagreb - enhancing transversal skills while learning science

December 12, 2019

Mathy Vanbuel and Sally Reynolds were in Zagreb, Croatia last week getting to know the new DOTS Consortium. DOTS is led by CARNET in Croatia and is all about finding ways in which teachers can help students improve their transversal skills like team-working and communication while learning science. The consortium is made up of teachers and teacher trainers involved in formal and informal training as well as researchers and service providers. ATiT's role is to support the partnership in their use of video in this process and we will be leading a workshop in February on creating knowledge clips and using video in the science classroom. This workshop will involve all partners who will also take part in a project meeting in Leuven and a workshop designed to short-list the activities that will be a cornerstone of DOTS going forward.
