"The Magazine", a European Commission publication, provides a periodical survey of education and culture issues in Europe with in-depth articles and reports on EU policies in the fields of education, training, youth, audiovisual policy, culture, languages, sport and civil society. It is available in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. The latest issue (nr 22-2004) entitled "Europe unties tongues" is about the promotion of multilinguality and lesser used languages and furthermore includes a special insert that provides an overview on the main activities of the Directorate-General for Education and Culture.
