The MEDEA Awards Ceremony took place at the very heart of the Media & Learning Conference this year. On November 21st, in the illustrious presence of Lord David Puttnam, the 8 MEDEA finalists found themselves in the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training waiting to find out who was to be honoured this year.
In the end, the MEDEA Award for Professionally Produced Educational Media went to The Digital Prevention Platform (UK), while the MEDEA Award for User-Generated Educational Media went to Un autre monde / Eine andere Welt (Germany and France). La Lettre Riabova (France) received the MEDEA Jury Special Prize, Digital stories (Greece) was honoured with the Special MEDEA Prize for European Collaboration Educational Media and To Pantopoleion – The Grocery Store (Greece) won the MEDEA Special Audience Prize.
